Many people don’t realize that a Certified Financial Planner is a rigorously trained professional in 72 areas of financial expertise. In addition to a bachelor’s degree with specialized CFP training, every CFP must accrue several THOUSAND hours of real world experience and pass a rigorous Board Certified Exam before they can earn their CFP certification.
CFPs are also held to the highest fiduciary standards when providing their services.
The goal of our Certified Financial Planners is to diligently work with you to establish a holistic, all-inclusive financial plan that will establish a clear path from where you are today, to where you want to go.
This plan will provide clear and concise guidance for you to follow and will include guidance for your accountant, legal counsel, insurance agents, investment managers and retirement plan administrators to follow as well. This ensures that all of your service providers are properly focused on YOUR goals and are working in UNISON (as opposed to simply doing their own thing and in many cases, inadvertently providing counter-productive and/or overlapping and inefficient services).
Once you have this plan, you can either take control, implement and manage the plan on your own, or with your approval, our CFPs can oversee and enact some or all of that plan on your behalf.
They can seamlessly integrate Granite's Investment Programs into that plan as well.
This provides you with 100% stress and worry-free administration of all your financial needs and allows you to rest assured that all your service providers are coordinated, working in unison and are being properly monitored.
To be clear, clients are not required to engage with one of our CFPs in order to participate in Granite’s Investment Programs, but as an investment advisor, we feel that one of our best “Return on Capital” investment recommendations is the use of a Certified Financial Planner.
